Snowpoet - Heartstrings ALBUM LAUNCH with support from LIZA LO

Join us at Hoxton Hall for the launch of Heartstrings, the new album from London-based Snowpoet, led by Lauren Kinsella and Chris Hyson. Known for their distinctive blend of jazz, folk, and electronic music, Snowpoet’s sound is thoughtful, immersive, and emotionally rich.

Heartstrings marks a new chapter for the band—written and recorded together in the studio for the first time, it captures the immediacy of live performance while expanding their sound with lush textures, layered harmonies, and deeply personal storytelling.

This is a rare opportunity to hear Snowpoet perform the new album live in an intimate setting. We hope you can join us for what promises to be a special evening.

Lauren Kinsella - Vocals
Chris Hyson - Synths
Matt Robinson - Piano + Synths
Josh Arcoleo - Sax/Bass
Dave Hamblett - Drums

Snowpoet will be supported by Liza Lo

Liza Lo is an indie-folk artist whose gentle yet powerful voice weaves tales of loss and growth. Her debut album ‘Familiar’, produced by Jon Kelly (Paul McCartney, Kate Bush) and recorded with her full live band at Damon Albarn’s Studio 13, was released via Gearbox Records in January 2025 and described by DIY magazine as “a wistful blend of indie-folk that’s reminiscent of the likes of Alice Phoebe Lou and Julia Jacklin”

After a year of touring, including a UK headline run and support slots for Harrison Storm, Vraell, and Steph Strings in duo set-up, Liza returned to Gearbox’s studio in Camden to record a stripped-back, analog reinterpretation of selected tracks from her album “Familiar”. Captured direct to ¼ inch tape on Gearbox’s vintage 1965 C37 tape machine with a Decca Tree mic set-up. The result is a raw, warm, and immediate sound that reflects the honest emotion of her recent live performances. This project, complete with accompanying visuals, marks both a return to the essence of her songwriting and a natural evolution in her sonic journey. Supported by BBC Introducing London, Notion’s Undiscovered playlist, and several major Spotify playlists (including NMF UK, NL, BE, and The Most Beautiful Songs in the World) Liza Lo continues to carve out a distinctive space for quietly powerful, emotionally grounded folk music.
