About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

It has been a long time since we have had one of our panel events. In June, we are back, on injustice experienced by young people of colour in Greater Manchester, and the freedom they deserve. We must celebrate that in January this year a legal win was secured for some of The Manchester 10, but the community campaign has exposed the harsh reality of racist collective punishment in the city region. In this event we will come together to explore such injustices, as well as our hopes for freedom.

Speakers include: Ade, who was convicted as part of the The Manchester 10, Keshia (End Police Pursuits campaign) sister of loved and missed Ronaldo Johnson, and other inputs from young people and families. As always, we welcome you as community to share and reflect too.
