Facilitator: Angela Maragna, strategic advisor and interim Director of Change
I'm an experienced leader with a passion for delivering transformational change and building stronger, more connected organisations. With a background in Change and Programme Management, I’ve spent nearly two decades leading pioneering system-wide change in the NHS. Alongside my healthcare work, I bring cross-sector experience from industries including investment banking, the charity sector, and media. This broad exposure has deepened my understanding of how to deliver meaningful, sustainable change in diverse organisational settings; always adapting to context while maintaining a clear focus on outcomes, people, and the long-term impact.
Beyond organisational change, I’ve also helped grow two mission-driven organisations—one a charity and one a not-for-profit—raising significant capital for both and expanding their reach through strategic publicity, partnerships, and fundraising.
I now work as a strategic advisor and interim Director of Change.
My career began in tech, and I still love the innovation and potential that health-tech brings; it’s exciting, even inspiring. But what drives me isn’t just the promise of new tools or platforms. What drives me is the challenge of real change. I’ve led it, lived it, and know just how complex it can be. Healthcare is an industry in need of change, and I bring the experience, energy, and empathy to make it happen. Delivering change is hard. All types of change. Whether it’s personal, organisational, or systemic; meaningful transformation takes time, resilience, and the right leadership.
