Assessment in Music Therapy is one of the primary practices of the Music Therapist. It aims to deal with information from the Music Therapy process in different ways. One of the current demands of Music Therapists is to be able to work with assessment tools that are tailored to their needs and that are appropriate to the particularities of Music Therapy.
This workshop will show practical and objective ways to create your own bespoke evaluation tools in Music Therapy. The idea is to present strategies for creating formal and informal tools in Music Therapy. The workshop is divided into the following topics:
1) How to plan the creation of an assessment tool.
2) Creating qualitative tools
3) Creating quantitative tools
4) Creating mixed-methods assessment tools.
5) Developing other assessment proposals/methods (going beyond the use of assessment tools)
This webinar will present guides on how to create the tools and will include interactive and practical exercises for attendees.
