The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is looking for volunteers to support our operations teams at Llanbeblig (St Peblig) Churchyard, and Llanbeblig Public Cemetery, where the CWGC looks after 84 war graves from the First and Second World War.
The activities of the day will include assisting in clearing and cleaning headstones, weeding, and mulching. It will also be a fantastic opportunity to get involved, meet CWGC staff, and learn more about our work across the UK.
The volunteering day will take place on Thursday the 5th of June from 10am to 3pm.
There is parking and toilets available on site. No experience is required, and all necessary training will be given on the day.
As part of Volunteers Week, the CWGC is celebrating volunteers and all the support they offer our teams by holding volunteering events open to the public, and we look forward to welcoming you to Llanbeblig (St Peblig) Churchyard and Cemetery

Mae Comisiwn Beddau Rhyfel y Gymanwlad yn chwilio am 10 gwirfoddolwr i gefnogi ein timau gweithrediadau ym Mynwent Eglwys Llanbeblig (Sant Peblig) ac ym Mynwent Gyhoeddus Llanbeblig, lle mae CWGC yn gofalu am 84 o feddau rhyfel o’r Rhyfeloedd Byd Cyntaf ac Ail.
Bydd gweithgareddau’r diwrnod yn cynnwys helpu i lanhau cerrig beddau, chwynnu, a rhoi malch. Bydd hefyd yn gyfle gwych i ymuno, cyfarfod â staff CWGC, a dysgu mwy am ein gwaith ledled y DU.
Bydd y diwrnod gwirfoddoli yn cael ei gynnal ddydd Iau 5 Mehefin, rhwng 10am a 3pm.
Mae lle parcio a thoiledau ar gael ar y safle. Does dim angen profiad, a bydd yr holl hyfforddiant angenrheidiol yn cael ei roi ar y diwrnod.
